Welcome to float!

This is my first game jam game, and also the first game I've technically uploaded anywhere, so don't expect much from it. I was going to make the game a bit more fleshed out, but I only had time to make a very basic gameplay loop. I also didn't have time to make it adhere to the theme much, so you're just gonna have to use your imagination to come up with a story/premise.

Controls:

WASD to move left and right, jump, and crouch

Direct the player's shield with the mouse cursor (you should probably use a mouse)

Left-click to parry with the shield or fire a projectile after a successful parry

Green projectiles can be parried, the goal is to defeat as many enemies as possible

Parrying will knock the player in the opposite direction, you can use this to do some cool movement stuff probably

This game was coded in GameMaker Studio 2, I might try to restructure and add to it in the future outside of this jam. I hope you enjoy!! :)
